As the title states, there is no definition to how an talent manager should be, if you be too kind, you’re soft, if thou be too rude, inapproachable. In this world, where foul is fair, for fair is useful, as they say the road to heaven is paved with wrong intentions. 🙃

For once just listen to your heart and do what analytics tell you to do. You have to keep in mind that nobody’s perfect and talent does not come from a singular source.
Gauge the talent and the hunger, skills can be taught. But then again, skills play a major part!

Some standards have to be maintained, and who doesn’t fancy a bit of class and professionalism. As a result, there is a set of modus operandi for you.
This will enable you to work in a systematic and presentable manner, because when the need comes, it’ll be dire, and then you’ll thank us! 😬
- Maintain professionalism, and make sure that office culture stays serene.
- It’s okay to not know everything, relax, nobody’s perfect! (However, this does not preclude an attempt.)
- Make sure that your work(s) and progress are always updated in the excel sheet shared with you. It’d help us track your performance and assign projects in a better manner.
- You have to create and maintain an SOP for every project you work on. (nothing major, just what you did, how you did, and why you did). You’ll get the briefing, relax 🙂!
- Last but not the least, you’re here to learn, but all work and no fun makes you boring (yeah, you smarty!🧐).
There’s a lot waiting for you. Interesting projects, never ending thrill, lots of acquisitions and accusations (😆). But most of all, an experience that will enable you to learn and grow left, right, and center.
Ps. we’re not that bad people, too, actually when you think about it, we just might be pretty interesting to talk and work with! 🥲
